This single-rib PDC core bit uses a lighter, open crown layout for efficient cutting and flushing in water-well, coal-mine and geological sampling. Compared with a double-rib crown, the single-rib structure provides more open flow but less cutting support and wear distribution.
A lighter crown leaves open channels for flushing and cuttings removal.
The central passage supports core entry for geological and coal-mine assessment.
Choose single rib for openness and efficient cutting; choose double rib when greater support and wear distribution are needed.

| Product type | Single-rib PDC core drill bit |
|---|---|
| Cutting structure | Separated single-rib crown segments with PDC cutters and central core passage |
| Primary applications | Water-well coring, coal-mine exploration, geological survey and formation sampling |
| Recommended formations | Soft to medium-hard formations where open flushing is beneficial |
| Selection difference | More open/lighter than double-rib designs; double-rib crowns may provide greater stability and wear distribution |
| Important limitation | Hard, highly abrasive or severely fractured formations require technical review |
| Available sizes | Current selectable sizes are shown above; inner core diameter, crown layout and thread require confirmation |
| Customization | Outer/inner diameter, rib/cutter layout, connection, waterways, hardfacing, color and packaging |
Performance depends on formation, rig parameters, flushing and operating practice. Final configuration should be confirmed by the technical team.
Send diameter, thread/connection, formation description, target depth, rig model, flushing method and quantity. Photos or geological reports improve configuration accuracy.
