4-Wing Concave PDC Drill Bit for Water Well & Mining

Four-wing concave PDC drill bit offering stable coreless drilling and controlled tracking for water-well, mining and geological projects. Harder-rock applications require formation-specific cutter and gauge confirmation.
Size: 113# / 4 1/2"

Four-Wing Concave Stability for Demanding Water-Well and Mining Bores

This four-wing concave PDC bit combines a recessed center for tracking with a broader four-wing cutting structure for stability. It can be configured for water-well, mining and geological drilling in medium to harder formations, but cutter grade and operating parameters must be matched to the actual rock.

Concave Tracking Center

The recessed center supports directional tracking and helps stabilize the bit face.

Four-Wing Load Support

Four wings distribute cutting contact and provide a more supported profile than a lighter three-wing design.

Formation-Specific Cutters

Harder or abrasive rock requires confirmed cutter grade, layout, gauge protection and drilling parameters.

Selection and Operating Guidance

Recommended when

  • More stability is required than an open three-wing bit provides.
  • The project involves a water well, mine hole or geological bore.
  • Formation information is available for cutter and gauge selection.

Confirm before ordering

  • Rock type, compressive strength, abrasiveness and fracture condition
  • Diameter, depth, thread and drill string
  • Rig torque, speed, weight-on-bit and flushing method

Performance depends on formation, rig parameters, flushing and operating practice. Final configuration should be confirmed by the technical team.
