Ribbed PDC Core Bit for Geological Exploration & Coal Mining

Ribbed PDC core drill bit with separated cutting segments, open waterways and a central core passage for geological exploration, coal-mine drilling and water-well sampling.
Size: 75# / 3"

Ribbed Crown Design for Stable Coring and Cuttings Flow

This ribbed PDC core bit uses separated crown ribs with individual cutting elements around an open core passage. The structure balances stable coring contact with open flow channels for cooling and cuttings evacuation in exploration, coal-mine and water-well work.

Separated Rib Crown

Individual crown ribs provide defined cutting contact while leaving open channels between segments.

Open Core Passage

The central passage supports formation sampling when matched to the correct core barrel.

Replaceable Project Geometry

Rib count, cutter arrangement, diameter and thread can be configured after formation and core-system review.

Selection and Operating Guidance

Recommended when

  • A core sample is required for exploration or geological assessment.
  • Open channels are needed for cooling and cuttings evacuation.
  • The formation is suitable for a fixed-cutter PDC coring structure.

Confirm before ordering

  • Core barrel dimensions, outer diameter and required sample diameter
  • Formation hardness, abrasiveness and fracture condition
  • Connection thread, flushing method, rig parameters and quantity

Performance depends on formation, rig parameters, flushing and operating practice. Final configuration should be confirmed by the technical team.
