This TSP core bit uses thermally stable polycrystalline cutting elements for geological and mineral exploration in hard-rock formations. TSP provides greater heat tolerance than conventional PDC, while successful deep drilling still depends on formation-specific cutter layout, stable feed and adequate flushing.
TSP cutting elements are selected for harder drilling conditions where cutting heat can challenge conventional PDC.
The open crown is designed to recover formation samples for geological and mineral analysis.
Cutter shape, count, exposure, crown geometry and waterways must match rock hardness and abrasiveness.

| Product type | TSP core drill bit |
|---|---|
| Cutting structure | Thermally stable polycrystalline cutting elements on a coring crown |
| Primary applications | Hard-rock geological exploration, mineral investigation and deep formation sampling |
| Recommended formations | Hard and competent rock after formation-specific cutter/crown selection |
| Important limitation | Highly abrasive, fractured or extremely hard formations may require impregnated or surface-set diamond alternatives |
| Operating requirement | Controlled speed/feed and adequate cooling/flushing; avoid excessive impact, vibration and overheating |
| Available sizes | Current selectable sizes are shown above; core-barrel standard, inner diameter and thread require confirmation |
| Customization | TSP cutter shape/layout, crown geometry, outer/inner diameter, connection, waterways and packaging |
Performance depends on formation, rig parameters, flushing and operating practice. Final configuration should be confirmed by the technical team.
Send diameter, thread/connection, formation description, target depth, rig model, flushing method and quantity. Photos or geological reports improve configuration accuracy.
