TSP Core Bit for Hard-Rock Geotechnical Sampling

TSP core drill bit for hard-rock geotechnical investigation and deep formation sampling, designed for heat-resistant cutting and representative core recovery.
Size: BQ / 2 3/8"

TSP Core Recovery for Hard-Rock Geotechnical Investigation

This TSP core bit is intended for hard-rock and deep geotechnical sampling where a representative core is needed for formation assessment. Thermally stable cutters improve heat tolerance, while correct crown selection, barrel matching and controlled drilling protect core quality.

Geotechnical Core Recovery

The open crown produces a sample for logging, testing and formation assessment.

Thermally Stable TSP Cutting

TSP elements support hard-rock coring where heat and wear challenge conventional PDC.

Core-System Matching

Outer/inner diameter, barrel standard, connection and crown geometry must be confirmed together.

Selection and Operating Guidance

Recommended when

  • A representative hard-rock core is needed for geotechnical evaluation.
  • TSP heat tolerance is suitable for the confirmed formation.
  • The drilling system can maintain controlled, stable coring parameters.

Confirm before ordering

  • Rock hardness, abrasiveness, fracture condition and sample-quality target
  • Core-barrel standard, core diameter, outer diameter and connection
  • Rig parameters, flushing flow/pressure, depth and run length

Performance depends on formation, rig parameters, flushing and operating practice. Final configuration should be confirmed by the technical team.
